The relations between Atalanta and Inter clubs are unsatisfactory due to the unsuccessful negotiations regarding Ademola Lukman. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The Nigerian forward was the main target of the Milan club, but it was not possible to get consent from the Bergamo team, even though the player himself was determined to transfer. Currently, Atalanta wants to add Nikola Zalewski from Inter to their squad, but tense relations between the representatives of the two clubs are hindering this, according to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The source also emphasizes that the deals concerning Lukman and Zalewski are not linked to each other, and there is no talk of an exchange. The 23-year-old Polish footballer is valued at 12 million euros according to the Transfermarkt portal.
In July, Inter purchased the midfielder from the Roma club.
