Kornilenko: Baltika is physically strong in their play

Former Krylya Sovetov striker from Samarkand Sergey Kornilenko shared his thoughts on the performance of Kaliningrad's Baltika team at the start of the Russian Premier League season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

In the latest match, Talalaev's team drew 1-1 with Lokomotiv and earned a point. In an interview with Match TV, Kornilenko emphasized that Baltika stands out for their physical condition.

They apply high pressure, create many opportunities, and engage in strong battles. The team clearly demonstrates the coach's style, said the former player.

After five matches in the Russian championship, the team led by Andrej Talalaev has collected nine points and is currently in third place in the competition table. The Kaliningrad team trails the leader Lokomotiv by four points.

This indicator shows Baltika's competitiveness in the season.
