Orlov: Barko missing a goal did not cause Spartak to lose

Famous sports commentator Gennadiy Orlov shared his thoughts with journalists about the missed penalty kick by midfielder Ezequiel Barco in the match against Saint Petersburg's Zenit team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to Orlov, if Barco had scored, the team would have gained three points, and the mood of the coach, management, and fans would have been completely different. However, the referees' decision was deemed correct, and the goal was disallowed because the ball was touched twice.

The match between Spartak and Zenit took place at the Lukoil Arena stadium in Moscow. The game ended in a 2:2 draw.

Following this result, Spartak, led by Dejan Stankovic, is currently in 12th place in the Premier League standings with five points.
