Famous Spanish goalkeeper David de Gea, currently playing for "Fiorentina," may return to English football. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to the Sun newspaper, the 34-year-old player's former team "Manchester United" is aiming to bring him back into their ranks. The "Red Devils" are discussing the return of the Spanish goalkeeper to "Old Trafford" stadium.

David de Gea joined "Fiorentina" last August. He signed a long-term contract with them until the end of June 2028.

Last season, the goalkeeper played 35 matches in Serie A. Although he conceded 38 goals, he kept a clean sheet in 11 games.

This situation indicates that "Manchester United" is reconsidering its goalkeeper strategy. David de Gea is expected to bring great benefit to the team with his experience and skills.

Football fans are closely following his future career.
