Former Spartak midfielder Aleksandr Mostovoy evaluated Spartak forward Manfred Ugalde's performance in the match against Zenit. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to Mostovoy, the team members did not understand why Ugalde did not take the field. However, coach Stankovich was right not to include him in the game, as Ugalde is currently not in top form.
The expert also noted that at the beginning of Ugalde's career at Spartak, he was unable to score for a long time, but later he proved himself. This season, the 23-year-old forward has appeared in six matches in the Russian Premier League and Cup competitions but has not been able to deliver effective results.
It is worth recalling that at the end of last season, Ugalde became the top scorer of the Russian championship, scoring 17 goals.
