Musayev: The dismissal changed the game, victory came

Murad Musayev, head coach of the “Krasnodar” team, gave an interview to “Match TV” after the match against “Sochi.” This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

How did winning by a large margin in today’s game make you feel? In the second half, “Krasnodar”’s performance improved, did the defender receive a second yellow card due to pressure, and do you think this was the turning point of the game?

I like any victory. Whether it’s 1:0 or 5:1, it’s three points.

The game was tough; in the first half, the opponent played very compactly and left us no space on the field. In the second half, the sending off of one of the opponent’s players helped us, and I believe that decision was correct.

The game became easier, more open spaces appeared, and we launched many attacks. The important thing is that we didn’t stop during the game, fought until the end, pleased the fans, and scored beautiful goals.

This week was very tough. We played three matches in eight days, two of which were away, one on artificial turf, and we achieved 100 percent results.

Your colleague said the refereeing was very bad. Do you think this opinion is correct?

I don’t know. Everyone is dissatisfied with refereeing when they lose.

I didn’t like the refereeing in the matches against “Orenburg” and “Dinamo,” there were serious mistakes there. It’s natural for each of us to always be dissatisfied with something.

But I didn’t see any problems in this game; everything seemed fair. Was Augusto’s substitution at the beginning of the second half related to the yellow card?

Why wasn’t Marcelo substituted after receiving the second yellow card? Or was this change made to speed up the game?

A central defender receiving a yellow card in the first half is not serious, but caution is needed in other defensive positions. Especially in the midfield position, more caution is necessary because it stops attacks.

We saw one episode where a “Sochi” player used force and committed a foul. I have no complaints about the game, but caution is needed.

Nikita played well against “Dinamo” and scored against “Orenburg.” I am pleased that we have such a substitute in our team; if necessary, we make substitutions that strengthen the game.
