Fernandes: The reason for Arsenal's defeat is a set-piece situation

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes gave an interview after the match against London’s Arsenal team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

In the match, Manchester United lost by a narrow margin. The team led by Ruben Amorim played at home in the first round of the new season and was defeated.

Arsenal scored the only goal in the 13th minute with the help of Ricardo Calafiori. According to Fernandes, they conceded a goal from a set piece at the beginning of the game, but Arsenal did not create clear chances afterwards.

Manchester United had many opportunities but failed to score. It was emphasized that they need to show more activity in upcoming matches.

In today’s game, the team controlled the ball well and managed the game, but it was not enough. Last season, Manchester United finished 15th in the league table, while Arsenal secured second place.
