Napoli is looking for a striker due to Lukaku's injury

Sports16:20, 18-08-2025

Recently, Napoli's striker Romelu Lukaku sustained a thigh injury during a friendly match. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

For this reason, the management of the Italian club is actively searching for a striker to replace the Belgian player. This was reported by journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.

According to the source, Lukaku's injury turned out to be more serious than initially thought. The player may be sidelined for two weeks to three months.

Therefore, the team needs to strengthen the striker position before the transfer window closes. Last summer, strikers Giovanni Simeone and Giacomo Raspadori left Napoli.

The new Serie A season begins on August 23. The club's management aims to participate in the new season with a strong squad.
