Sennikov: Lokomotiv is still too early to think about the championship

Former Lokomotiv player Dmitriy Sennikov evaluated Lokomotiv's chances for the gold medals in the current Russian championship. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

In his opinion, Lokomotiv is playing well at the moment, but whether the team can consistently demonstrate their game over a long distance is still uncertain. According to Sennikov, it is too early to assess the chances for the championship.

He said that after three or four rounds, the competition table will become somewhat balanced. According to the expert, in the near future, Spartak, Zenit, and Moscow Dynamo will catch up with Lokomotiv.

These teams did not start the season very well. Currently, after five rounds, Lokomotiv, led by Mikhail Galaktionov, is the sole leader with 13 points.

Thus, a more intense struggle between the teams is expected in the next stages of the competition.
