The capital team "Lokomotiv" has started searching for a new attacking midfielder. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Reliable source, journalist Ivan Karpov, announced this on his Telegram channel. According to the information, the "Lokomotiv" team is looking for a player who can replace midfielder Aleksey Batrakov if necessary.
The club plans to loan the player with an option to buy later. This season, the 20-year-old Batrakov has played in seven matches across all tournaments and scored eight goals.
The Russian player's current contract with "Lokomotiv" is valid until 2029. Experts from the Transfermarkt portal estimate his market value at 12 million euros.
By attracting a new midfielder, the club aims to further strengthen the team's attacking potential. This, in turn, will help the team achieve higher results in competitions.
