The chairman of the referees committee of the Russian Football Federation, Pavel Kamantsev, commented on Spartak's disallowed goal in the fifth round of the Russian championship match between Spartak and Zenit (2:2). This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In the additional minutes of the game, after Spartak failed to convert a penalty opportunity, they scored on the rebound, but this goal was disallowed. According to Kamantsev, if the goal had been scored by the player taking the penalty, it should have been recognized.
However, due to a double touch violation during the penalty kick, a free kick was awarded. In recent years, Barko became the third Spartak player to violate the double touch rule on penalties.
Previously, similar incidents occurred with Aleksandr Sobolev and Quincy Promes. These situations are strictly monitored by referees, and appropriate measures are taken if the rules are violated.
