
The defender and captain of London’s Tottenham football club has signed a new long-term contract. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The club’s press service provided this information. Tottenham did not disclose the exact duration of the new employment contract with the 27-year-old Argentine player.
However, according to journalist David Ornstein, the agreement between the parties is planned until June 2029. The previous contract expired in 2027.
Romero has been playing for Tottenham since 2021. He joined from the Italian club Atalanta.
This season, the defender has appeared in two matches and scored one goal. On August 23, Tottenham will play an away match against Manchester City as part of the second round of the English Premier League.
