Samoshnikov took number 14 at Spartak

Lokomotiv defender Ilya Samoshnikov will transfer to Spartak in the coming days. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Earlier it was revealed that the 27-year-old Russian player successfully passed the medical examination to join Spartak. According to the Spartak Inform Telegram channel, Samoshnikov will play under number 14 at his new club.

Spartak will pay Lokomotiv approximately 3.7 million euros for the player. A contract with Samoshnikov will be signed until 2028.

Spartak’s next match will take place on August 23. In this game, the team led by Dejan Stanković will face Rubin Kazan in the sixth round of the Russian Championship.

This transfer is considered an important step to strengthen Spartak’s defense line. Players and fans are expecting good results in the new season.
