Sochi plans to buy Serbian defender

Serbian defender Nemanja Stojic, whose rights belong to the Tel Aviv-based club "Maccabi," may transfer to the Russian Premier League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

This information is reported by the Sport5 publication. According to sources, the "Sochi" club, which occupies one of the last places in the Premier League, wants to add the central defender to its squad.

Negotiations between the clubs regarding the agreement have begun. Stojic's market value is estimated at approximately 2.7 million euros.

The defender's contract with the Israeli club is valid until mid-2027. The "Sochi" team did not start well in the new season of the Russian Premier League.

After five rounds, the team led by Robert Moreno has collected only one point and is at the bottom of the competition table. The club's results require additional work for the team to improve throughout the season.
