Vyacheslav Koloskov, honorary president of the Russian Football Union, admitted that the Moscow "Dinamo" team's results in the current Russian championship are below expectations. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He said he was hopeful about the team's start, and based on the players' lineup, the coach's qualifications, and the club's management, he assumed that "Dinamo" could not only compete for prizes but also win the championship. The expert also emphasized that the "white-blue" team's management trusts head coach Valery Karpin, even though the results so far are not satisfactory.
After five rounds, the Moscow team is in 11th place in the tournament table and has accumulated a total of five points at the start of the championship. This situation does not correspond to the team's plans and hopes at the beginning of the season.
The club's management and coaches continue to work on improving the team.
