The Moscow "Lokomotiv" team intended to loan attacking midfielder Ivan Oleynikov from the "Krylya Sovetov" club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to sources, the Samarkand team was ready to sell the 26-year-old player to the "red-greens" with the condition of installment payments totaling 300 million rubles. However, the capital club offered a contract with the right to loan and later purchase.
According to information, "Lokomotiv" wanted to set the purchase price for Oleynikov at 250 million rubles, but with the condition that the player must play at least 70 minutes in at least 15 matches. According to the journalist's information, the "Krylya Sovetov" club did not accept such conditions and rejected the offer.
In the current season, Oleynikov has appeared in a total of five matches across all tournaments but has not distinguished himself by scoring goals or providing assists. Therefore, his future at the club remains uncertain for now.
Negotiations regarding new agreements between the club and the player are ongoing.
