Spartak bought Samoshnikov from Lokomotiv

Defender Ilya Samoshnikov has transferred from Lokomotiv to Spartak. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The official Telegram channel of the "red-whites" team announced this. The 27-year-old Russian footballer signed a contract with Spartak valid until 2028.

There is an option to extend the contract for another season. In the new team, Samoshnikov will play under the number 14.

According to media sources, the player's transfer cost the "red-whites" approximately 3.7 million euros. The defender played for Lokomotiv from 2023 to 2025.

During this period, he appeared in a total of 70 matches across all competitions, scoring five goals and providing six assists. Samoshnikov is expected to achieve good results with his new team.

The Spartak team aims to further strengthen its position with his participation.
