Veteran CSKA player Valeriy Masalitin shared his thoughts in an exclusive interview about the signing of Ramiro di Lusiano. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, to evaluate the new defender, it is first necessary to get acquainted with his gameplay. Masalitin stated that if Alves has adapted well and benefited the team, then this transfer will also bring positive results soon.
This year, di Lusiano played in all matches of the Argentine championship for his previous club. This shows his level, but Masalitin emphasized that sometimes even experienced players cannot prove themselves.
Therefore, CSKA uses a system of loaning players. If the player performs well, there is an opportunity to purchase him.
Otherwise, he leaves the team. Regarding di Lusiano being called the "new Zanetti," Masalitin said that there are always high hopes when a new player is signed.
Some transfers, however, do not meet expectations. If a player performed well in his previous team, it is appropriate to express positive opinions about him.
Masalitin also spoke about Alves's contribution to the team, noting that his quick understanding with Oblyakov and Kislyak results in good performances. Additionally, when asked if Alves could reach Carvajal's level, Masalitin said he has not reached that yet but is showing good play.
All of them are hopeful signs for the team's future.
