This season, left-back Miguel Gutierrez, who played for Spain's Girona team, signed an official contract with Napoli. Information about the new player was provided on the club's official website.

A five-year employment contract was signed with the Spanish footballer. According to media reports, Napoli paid Girona 18 million euros for Gutierrez without bonuses.

Last season, the 24-year-old defender played 36 matches for the Spanish team, scoring two goals and providing six assists. Gutierrez will make his Serie A debut on August 23 in the first round match against Sassuolo.

His joining the team will help further strengthen Napoli's defense. The club's fans are expecting positive results from the new player's performance.
