The likelihood of the next World Cup taking place without Lionel Messi for the Argentina national team is high. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

South American media outlets are increasingly speculating that the match against the Uruguay national team on September 4 may be Leo's last. This game will be the final official match for the Argentina national team before the World Cup next summer.

The outcome of the match against Uruguay will reveal a lot. There is a possibility that this game will be celebrated in a special way, which could serve as a distinct, final farewell to Messi.

Previously, Messi has temporarily left the national team, but this time his departure may be permanent. Thus, this match will hold great significance for the Argentina national team and its fans.

Messi may once again demonstrate his place in football history by concluding his service to the team. This event will be closely watched in the football world.
