Kuban lost to PSK in the national cup

In the 1/128 final stage of the 2024 national cup competition, the “Kuban” team faced PSK. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

In the 13th minute of the game, Ilya Pshenichnikov, who received a short pass from Dmitriy Nechaev, came face to face with the goalkeeper and directed the ball into the goal with a low shot, opening the score – 0:1. Nechaev advanced from the left wing and passed the ball to Pshenichnikov.

Later, Ilya Vorotnikov made a pass from the right wing to Yuriy Fedoseyev, but his shot flew over the goalpost. In the 39th minute, Fedoseyev increased the score to 0:2 with a powerful long-range shot, which the goalkeeper did not expect.

At the beginning of the second half, Maksim Ofitserov tried to finish a pass from the right wing but failed to strike the empty corner. Leon Fust took a corner kick from the right wing for the “Kuban” team, and Evgeniy Osipov headed the ball, but the goalkeeper saved it.

Danila Gayvoronskiy headed the ball after a free kick, but the goalkeeper again directed the ball to a corner kick. In the final minutes of the game, Igor Bezdenejnykh threw the ball in from the right wing, and Ilya Molteninov scored from inside the penalty area, reducing the score to 1:2.

Although the hosts dominated in the second half, they were unable to change the outcome of the game. Final score: Kuban 1, PSK 2.
