PSK defeated Kuban in the national cup

In the 1/128 final stage of the 2024 national cup competition, the “Kuban” team played against PSK. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

In the 13th minute of the game, Ilya Pshenichnikov received a short pass from Dmitriy Nechayev, faced the goalkeeper one-on-one, placed the ball low into the goal, and opened the scoring – 0:1. Nechayev advanced from the left wing and passed the ball to Pshenichnikov, whose powerful shot was saved by the goalkeeper.

Ilya Vorotnikov made a pass from the right wing to Yuriy Fedoseev, but he shot over the goalpost. In the 39th minute, the visitors doubled the score with a precise long-range shot.

Fedoseev took a powerful shot from the left wing, and the ball, which the goalkeeper thought would not reach the corner, went into the right corner – 0:2. At the beginning of the second half, Maksim Ofitserov directed a pass from the right wing towards the goal but failed to accurately hit the open corner.

Leon Fust took a corner kick from the right wing for the “Kuban” team. Yevgeniy Osipov headed the ball, but the goalkeeper saved it.

After a free kick, Danila Gayvoronskiy headed the ball, and the goalkeeper again directed it to a corner kick. At the end of the game, Igor Bezdenejnykh threw the ball out from the right wing, and Ilya Molteninov made an accurate shot to the lower corner from the penalty area, bringing the score to 1:2.

Despite the hosts' dominance in the second half, they were unable to change the course of the game and secure victory. The final result was Kuban 1, PSK 2.
