Lepyohin: Jerson Santos has not yet adapted to Zenit

Former footballer Konstantin Lepyohin shared his opinion about the performance of Jerson Santos, the new summer signing of Saint Petersburg's Zenit team, in the current season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, so far Jerson has not been able to show a clear and effective game for Zenit. Lepyohin emphasized that Santos plays in the central position on the field, but unlike others, he has not acted sharply and effectively in this position.

If another player had created such opportunities, the team's results would have been different. Lepyohin believes that it will take at least six months to assess the true ability of the Brazilian player, as he has not yet fully adapted to the team.

Jerson Santos was purchased from Flamengo for 25 million euros. In the Russian championship, he has appeared in five matches but has not directly influenced any goals.

Currently, his team is in ninth place in the standings with six points. Overall, it is clear that the player's adaptation to the team and his performance are still in the development stage.
