Istanbul's "Besiktas" football club has introduced the team's new head coach. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to the club's press service, the team will be led by 52-year-old Turkish specialist Sergen Yalcin. The coach signed a long-term contract with "Besiktas".
This agreement is planned until the end of the 2026/2027 season. Yalcin previously managed the "Besiktas" team during the 2020/2021 season.
It is worth noting that recently the Istanbul club announced the resignation of Norwegian coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The Scandinavian specialist was dismissed after defeats in the Conference League qualifying matches against Switzerland's "Lausanne" team.
The new head coach aims to lead the team to new heights following previous setbacks. The club's management and fans expect high results from Sergen Yalcin.
