The former head coach of Fenerbahce, Ismoil Kartal, is unlikely to become the new head coach of Spartak. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to Emir Shillachi, Kartal asked for a very high salary from the management of the "red-white" team, which is why negotiations between the parties were stopped. According to foreign sources, Kartal also demanded a three-year contract and a guarantee of a large transfer budget.
Currently, the head coach of Spartak is Dejan Stankovic. Under his leadership, the team is in eighth place in the Russian Premier League standings after six matches, having accumulated eight points.
The team is currently striving to improve its performance, and the issue of a new coach has not yet been resolved. Thus, Kartal's arrival to the team is still uncertain, and negotiations have been halted.
