UEFA announced the schedule for the Champions League group stage matches on Saturday. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Accordingly, the match between the teams "Kairat" and "Real" will take place within a month, on September 30, as part of the second round. The match is scheduled to start at 19:45 Moscow time.

The "Real" team will have to cover approximately 6,500 kilometers one way to play in Kazakhstan. The head coach of the Madrid team, Xabi Alonso, called this match a serious logistical challenge.

In the first round of the Champions League, "Kairat" will play away against Portugal's "Sporting" team. This trip will cover about 7,000 kilometers for the Kazakhstan team, setting a new tournament record.

For the first time in its history, the "Kairat" team has qualified for the Champions League group stage. This achievement is an important milestone for the country's football.
