Orenburg scored two goals but took a point
In the seventh round of the Russian Premier League, the teams "Orenburg" and "Rubin" faced each other. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Led by Vladimir Slishkovich, "Orenburg" and Rashid Rahimov's "Rubin" took the field at the "Gazovik" stadium in the village of Rostoshi, Orenburg city. In the previous three matches, "Orenburg" had mixed results, winning with determination against "Akron," drawing with "Ahmat," and losing 3:5 to "Zenit" in the Cup.

"Rubin," on the other hand, defeated "Rostov" but later lost to "Spartak" and "Ahmat." In the opening minutes of the game, "Orenburg" attacked but failed to deliver a precise shot.

In the 15th minute, "Rubin" opened the scoring. Oganesyan made a central pass, Ivu delivered the ball to the left wing, and Daku shot into the far corner – 0:1.

"Orenburg" quickly tried to respond but was unsuccessful. "Rubin" increased the lead in the 34th minute.

Gyurluk lost the ball, Ivu passed from the right wing to Yochich, who, together with Daku, deceived the defenders and scored – 0:2. At halftime, Slishkovich substituted Gudzina into the game, and this decision paid off.

After the game resumed, the hosts reduced the deficit in the 52nd minute. Gyurluk made a short pass from a corner kick to Thompson, who approached the left wing and passed the ball to Gudzina positioned in the center.

Gudzina headed the ball into the near corner – 1:2. The goal difference decreased.

In the following minutes, "Rubin's" dominance lessened. As a result of another corner kick by "Orenburg," a penalty was awarded in the 72nd minute.

Gritsayoenko handled the ball, and after a video review, the referee awarded a penalty. Thompson calmly converted the penalty kick, leveling the score – 2:2.

In the final stages of the match, both teams created several chances, but no goals were scored. "Orenburg" maintained the score and achieved a 2:2 draw for the second consecutive time.

In the previous round, they had lost a 2:0 lead, but this time they preserved a draw from a 0:2 deficit. In this match, both teams tested their strength and showed equal power in the fight against each other.

The game offered the spectators interesting and contentious moments. Kirill Ivantsov provided the protocol and analysis of this match.
