Enzo Mareska, head coach of Chelsea, shared his thoughts on the refereeing in the Premier League match against Fulham. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The "Pensioners" won the derby held at their home ground with a score of 2-0. Mareska commented on the disallowing of Fulham's goal as follows: "I have reviewed this situation several times and clearly understood that there was a foul here.
Of course, the opponents may have a different opinion. It is evident that their player struck our footballer, so for me, this matter is clear."
Regarding the penalty, the head coach said: "I just understood now. At first, I thought they were reviewing the handball of the Fulham player, but in fact, the decision was made against our team," Mareska said on the BBC Match of the Day program.
Additionally, Fulham's head coach Marco Silva had earlier expressed dissatisfaction with several important decisions made by the referee.
