Glushenkov: Victory over Pari NN was important

Sports21:32, 30-08-2025

Zenit team forward Maksim Glushenkov highlighted the key aspects of the match and evaluated the team's recent results after securing a 2-0 victory against Pari NN in the 7th round of the Russian Premier League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, the first half was challenging because the team missed several opportunities. However, the first goal helped the team feel more confident.

The second goal, in Glushenkov's opinion, definitively settled the victory and eliminated all doubts against the opponent. The forward emphasized that Zenit's start has not been particularly unlucky.

He also mentioned the need to defeat these opponents and earn 6 points. If they had not gained points in this match as well, the situation would have been bad and disappointing.

Glushenkov was named the best player of the match. Currently, Zenit stands fourth in the league table with 12 points.

The team will play away against Baltika on September 14.
