Semak spoke about Jerson's condition and adaptation

Sports22:01, 30-08-2025

Sergey Semak, head coach of the Zenit team, commented on the condition of midfielder Jerson. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The Brazilian player was unable to take the field in the match against Pari NN on Saturday due to a minor injury. According to Semak, Jerson is still going through the adaptation process after the summer transfer.

The coach emphasized that they have spoken with Jerson. Of course, moving to another country and league presents difficulties for him.

Currently, his physical condition is not at its best, but he understands this well and wants to play better. According to Semak, Jerson has excellent abilities and will help Zenit, but he will need time.

The coach also recalled that Venadel and Malcom did not start playing at a high level immediately either. On Saturday, Zenit defeated Pari NN 2-0.

In the next round, Sergey Semak's team will play against Baltika in Kaliningrad on September 14. This match will be one of the important fixtures of the Premier League.
