Robert Moreno is close to being dismissed from his position as head coach of the Sochi team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

On Saturday, the team failed to achieve an unexpected result at Spartak's ground and lost 1:2. The Sochi management is actively discussing parting ways with Moreno and changing the head coach of the team.

This was announced by the Sport-Express publication on its pages. Currently, Sochi is at the bottom of the Russian Premier League standings after seven games.

Under Moreno's leadership, the team has earned only one point in recent matches. If Sochi changes the head coach, it will be the second coaching change in this Premier League season.

The first change occurred at the Akhmat team, where Stanislav Cherchesov replaced Aleksandr Storozhuk after the third round. The next match of the Russian championship will be held on September 14, when Sochi will play away against Krylya Sovetov.
