Spartak coach said points are lacking

Dejan Stankovic, head coach of the “Spartak” team, emphasized that his team could have earned more points after their victory against “Sochi” (2:1) in the 7th round of the Russian Premier League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to the coach, the “red-whites” dropped points in matches against “Akron” (1:1) and “Zenit” (2:2). At the same time, he expressed satisfaction with his players’ determination and work ethic.

The coach stated that the team never gives up and continuously works on improving themselves. If the matches against “Akron” and “Zenit” had ended differently, our team would currently have 15 points.

However, we do not look for excuses and strive forward. At present, “Spartak” holds sixth place in the standings with 11 points after 7 rounds.
