Osipov: The draw against Spartak was fair
Sochi team's midfielder Aleksandr Osipov shared his thoughts in an exclusive interview about the defeat against Spartak. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He believes that a draw would have been a fairer result in the match. The team deserved to earn one point from the game, but he emphasized that much still needs to be improved to expect more than that.

Regarding the second penalty awarded at the end of the match, he said he had not rewatched the incident but acknowledged that the team caused that situation and that such moments are viewed very critically. He stressed the need to pay attention to many aspects to improve Sochi team's results.

In particular, quick attacks, efficiency in positional attacks, being active in duels, and gaining possession are important. Also, efforts should be made to start the attack with the first pass.

Speaking about Moreno's health, he revealed that Moreno felt discomfort in the heart area during the game but thanked the team members after the match. Moreno is currently in good condition and participated in the next training session.

Team members said they were not worried about his health and did not see the incident since he was on the field. At the same time, it was reported that Moreno's health is good and he has been discharged from the hospital.

Although many have expressed opinions about the coaching change at Sochi, Osipov emphasized that this issue should be decided by the management, not the team. They cannot make decisions about the coaching change themselves.

He said that to improve the team's difficult tournament situation, it is necessary to fully dedicate themselves to each game, approach football sincerely, and put in more effort. Then luck may also turn in their favor.

He noted that since there are many new players in the team, time is needed to increase mutual understanding and develop cooperation. The break for national teams will have a positive effect on this process, Osipov said.
