Zavarzin: Spartak victory is fair and deserved

The former general director of Tashkent's “Spartak” team, Yuri Zavarzin, shared his thoughts after the match against the “Sochi” team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The match in the seventh round of the Russian championship ended with a 2:1 victory for “Spartak” led by Dejan Stankovic. Zavarzin said that one could be against or agree with the penalty decision, but he acknowledged that the event happened as it did.

He believes that the “Spartak” team deserved the three points because during the game the team members fought hard and utilized all their opportunities. After this victory, “Spartak” holds sixth place in the tournament table with 11 points.

Meanwhile, “Sochi” is at the bottom of the tournament table, in sixteenth place, with only one point. The teams are striving to improve their performances throughout the season.
