Stanislav Cherchesov, head coach of the "Ahmat" team, shared his thoughts about the match against "Rostov" on the "Match TV" channel. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The match ended with a score of 1:1. Cherchesov assessed the result and emphasized that for "Ahmat," this game was about securing one point in Rostov.
He said the team wanted to win, but "Rostov" also played with the same goal. He noted that his team had several opportunities but did not play as planned in the second half.
He mentioned that giving up the field to the opponent caused difficulties for the team. He linked the low quality of play in the second half to the opponent's actions and said that this issue should not be discussed in detail for now.
Commenting on Melkadze's goal, he noted that he successfully broke away from the central defenders, which indicates the team's good preparation. He admitted that Mironov's long-range shots and passes from set-pieces caused problems for the team, but said it is difficult to prevent them.
"Ahmat" remains unbeaten in the championship, with a series of four games consisting of two wins and two draws, which he evaluated positively. The head coach emphasized that the team meets his demands and that further development is possible by eliminating some shortcomings.
He mentioned that there is an upcoming break for national teams, and he plans to use this time to improve the team physically and tactically. He also said that as a coach, he has never lost in Rostov, although he has experienced defeats as a player.
