Xabi Alonso highly praised Real's victory

Real Madrid's head coach Xabi Alonso shared his thoughts about the team's performance in the match against Mallorca (2:1). This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Although the team conceded a goal in the 7th minute of the game, they managed to score twice in the last two minutes of the first half. In the 37th and 38th minutes, Arda Güler and Vinicius Junior equalized and then took the lead.

In his post-match interview, Alonso emphasized that the team responded well to the conceded goal. He said that during the halftime break they discussed the shortcomings in pressing and counter-pressing and took measures to eliminate them.

These measures paid off and the team scored two goals shortly after. Thus, after the third round of the Spanish championship, Real leads the tournament table with 9 points.
