Douglas Augusto explained Córdoba's words

Douglas Augusto, the midfielder of the Krasnodar team, responded to his teammate Jon Córdoba's statement about not wanting to play in the Russian championship. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to the referee's opinion, Córdoba collided with an opposing player during the match against CSKA on Sunday and left the field. The match ended with a score of 1:1.

Augusto expressed hope that Córdoba will remain in the team and emphasized that he is a very important player for the squad. Perhaps Jon's words were said in the heat of the moment.

Additionally, Augusto pointed out that the referee's decisions during the game were unfair. After this match, Krasnodar leads the championship table with 16 points.

CSKA is in second place with 15 points, and the teams Lokomotiv and Baltika also have the same number of points.
