Pesyakov: Our game plan against Lokomotiv was different

Sergey Pesyakov, goalkeeper of Krylya Sovetov, shared his thoughts about the match against the Samarkand team Lokomotiv in the seventh round of the Russian Premier League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The match ended with a score of 2:2. According to Pesyakov, they had planned to play as the second team, relying more on counterattacks.

However, conceding a goal in the second minute forced them to take risks. The second goal was scored from a set-piece, and this mistake mentally affected the team.

At the end of the first half, the team seemed unable to concentrate. The goalkeeper also noted that in the second half, Lokomotiv players relaxed somewhat after their success in the first half and did not play at full strength.

In this match, the Samarkand team, having earned only one point, is placed ninth in the tournament table with a total of nine points. Lokomotiv, on the other hand, dropped to fourth place with 15 points.
