Igor Osinkin appointed head coach of Sochi

Igor Osinkin has been appointed head coach of the “Sochi” team, replacing Robert Moreno. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

This was announced by Boris Rotenberg, who serves as the club president. According to Rotenberg, the team becomes strong when every player fights not only for their family and sports results but also for the coach.

This situation was not observed in the team during Moreno's tenure, but Osinkin will change that, he says. Under Robert Moreno, “Sochi” collected only one point in seven rounds.

In the last match, the team lost 1:2 away to “Spartak”. After leaving “Krylya Sovetov”, Igor Osinkin had been away from coaching for several months.

The “Sochi” team will play their next match on September 14. In this game, they will face Osinkin's former team “Krylya Sovetov” in Samara.
