Serie A recorded the fewest goals in the 21st century
In the first two rounds of the new season, a total of 41 goals were scored in the Italian Serie A championship. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

This is the lowest figure recorded in the 21st century. The fewest goals were recorded in 1999, when only 38 goals were scored in the first two rounds of that season.

In the new season, the matches with the most goals scored saw five goals. Such results were observed in the first round match between Inter and Torino, as well as in the second round match between Cremonese and Sassuolo.

Currently, Napoli, Juventus, Cremonese, and Roma have accumulated six points each in the Serie A standings. The next round will be held in mid-September after a break for national team matches.
