Zavarzin recommended responding to Karpin's words
Yuriy Zavarzin, a specialist who previously worked as the general director at Moscow's Dinamo team, responded to Valeriy Karpin's statements. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
On Sunday, after Dinamo Makhachkala lost (0:1), Karpin announced his readiness to leave the head coach position. According to Zavarzin, it is not right to say such words lightly.
He said that everyone must be responsible for what they say. This issue is serious because the head coach manages not just a small office but the entire team.
It was unnecessary to make such a statement driven by emotions after the game. He also emphasized that, as an older person, Karpin should understand the responsibility placed on him and comply with the terms of the contract.
Zavarzin also recalled that Oleg Romantsev did not leave Spartak previously. That team unexpectedly lost to Kosice in the Champions League qualifying round during the 1997-1998 season.
Currently, under Valeriy Karpin's leadership, Dinamo has recorded two wins, two draws, and three losses in seven rounds of the Premier League. The team has collected 8 points and is in ninth place in the competition table.
