Russian commentator Vitaliy Oshovskiy, as a fan of Moscow "Dinamo" team, demanded the resignation of the club's head coach Valeriy Karpin. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The expert expressed this opinion in an interview with the publication "Euro-Football.Ru". Oshovskiy said that he does not represent all "Dinamo" fans, but currently considers himself a victim of marketing.
In the summer, there were many repeated statements everywhere that "Dinamo" and "Zenit" would compete for the championship. Karpin was recognized as a coach who could assemble the team and organize excellent play.
"Dinamo" was supposed to be a new milestone for him to conquer, since Karpin had never been a Russian Premier League champion. His passionate outbursts distracted the fans.
Now Oshovskiy clearly understands that Karpin is not a coach, especially for top-level clubs. He is just a good advertising product actively promoted by someone.
There will be no positive changes in the team under Karpin's leadership. If he is not dismissed from the team, "Dinamo" will be forced to fight for survival.
Karpin's brief interview in the city of Makhachkala summed it all up. He said, "If I am dismissed, so be it, this is not the first time."
These words revealed the true face of his attitude towards the team and work. If the club respects itself, it must immediately dismiss Karpin, said Oshovskiy.
Currently, "Dinamo" has only gathered eight points and stands tenth in the Russian Premier League standings.
