Maxim Nenakhov, a “Lokomotiv” football player, stated that the referees made a mistake by canceling Nikolay Komlichenko's goal in the 7th round RPL match against “Krylya Sovetov” (2:2). This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In the final minutes of the game, the main referee reviewed the episode and identified a foul committed by the attacker on Samara team's goalkeeper Sergey Pesyakov, and canceled the goal. A few minutes later, Komlichenko received a second yellow card, leaving “Lokomotiv” with ten players, and the visitors equalized the score from a penalty.
According to Nenakhov, the battle in the penalty area was even and the attacker did not commit a foul. The defender believes the referee's mistake was a turning point in the game.
He said: “It is difficult for him now, he left the team behind. But they took away a clean goal from him.
Both moved with their correct feet and touched each other. Therefore, it is still unclear who committed a foul against whom.”
Currently, “Lokomotiv” is in fourth place in the standings after seven rounds, having accumulated 15 points.
