Moscow "Spartak" football club's CEO Oleg Malyishev stated that it is currently too early for the team to think about competing for the championship. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, the main goal right now is to fight for three points in every game. In an interview with "Sport-Express," Malyishev emphasized that aiming for the championship this season would be wrong and that the most appropriate goal is to focus on winning upcoming matches.
He disagreed with the opinion that the "red-whites" have played poorly in every game, but admitted that the current position does not align with the club's initial plans. After seven rounds, "Spartak" currently holds sixth place in the league table with 11 points.
The next opponent will be Moscow "Dynamo." Thus, the club's team strives to achieve maximum results in every match to reach their goals.
