Colombian midfielder Gustavo Puerta has left Bayer club in Leverkusen, Germany, and moved to Spain. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The club's press service announced that the 22-year-old player has transferred to Racing club. Puerta signed a long-term contract with the Spanish club until mid-2029.
During the summer transfer window, Moscow's central sports club CSKA also expressed interest in adding Puerta to their squad, but negotiations did not take place due to Bundesliga restrictions. Last season, Gustavo was on loan and played for England's Hull City club.
The midfielder appeared in 31 matches and managed to score one goal. His market value is approximately 3.5 million euros.
This transfer is expected to mark a new stage in the player's career.
