Former Moscow “Spartak” midfielder Denis Boyarintsev commented on the activities of Kaliningrad’s “Baltika” club in the current season of the Russian championship. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to Boyarintsev, coach Andrey Talalaev is turning his players into Russian Premier League level athletes. The “Baltika” players play on the field with all their heart, which is why they manage to take points from the league leaders.
Last season, “Baltika” won the PARI league, leading Moscow’s “Torpedo” team by four points. Currently, the team is in third place in the Russian Premier League table after seven matches, having collected 15 points.
At the same time, CSKA and “Lokomotiv” also have 15 points, while “Krasnodar” leads the table with 16 points. These results demonstrate “Baltika”’s strong performance this season and confirm that the team has great chances to occupy top positions.
