Ponomaryov: Spartak will finish the season in fourth place

Former Moscow CSKA player Vladimir Ponomaryov shared his opinion about the prospects of the capital's Spartak team in the current season of the Russian Premier League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, Spartak will not be able to win the championship this year. The red and white team will try to get close to the prize places, but will not be able to secure them.

According to the expert, Spartak will finish the season approximately in fourth place. In the last game before the break, the team led by Dejan Stanković defeated Sochi 2-1 at their home ground, Lukoil Arena stadium.

After seven rounds of the Russian Premier League, the people's team has collected 11 points and is currently in sixth place in the competition table. Thus, Spartak is showing good performance throughout the season, but there are still strong competitors in the fight for the top positions.
