Kiril Volzhenkin, president of the "Orenburg" football club, emphasized the necessity for referees to make consistent and fair decisions during matches. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He stated that reviewing match incidents is a natural process, and it is important for clubs to be informed about the new rules and for referees to apply the same decisions in every game. According to Volzhenkin, the most important thing is that the new interpretations are communicated to the club and that referees adhere to uniform standards in all matches.
Additionally, he highlighted this issue in an interview with "Match TV." In the 7th round of the RPL, the "Orenburg" team, managed by Vladimir Slishkovich, drew 2:2 at home against "Rubin."
Although the team was initially trailing 0:2, they equalized by converting a penalty. This penalty was awarded due to a handball by a Kazan player.
This incident clearly demonstrated the impact of referees' decisions on the game and how the new rules are applied in practice. Overall, referees making consistent and fair decisions in every match is crucial for ensuring the transparency and fairness of football competitions.
