Former Russian national team player Igor Semshov shared his thoughts on the appointment of Konstantin Zyryanov as the chairman of the management board at the Saint Petersburg football club Zenit. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to Semshov, the Zenit club has always maintained a positive attitude towards players who have achieved results during their careers. The club does not abandon them but rather provides opportunities for them to express themselves as coaches or managers.
This serves as a good example for other clubs. It is worth noting that Zyryanov was recently appointed as the chairman of the management board at Zenit, replacing Aleksandr Medvedev in this position.
Zyryanov has worked at the club for many years not only as a player but also as a coach. Additionally, he has played for the Russian national team, Moscow's Torpedo, and Amkar from his hometown of Perm.
This experience will serve as a foundation for his successful work in his new position.
