Radimov: Akron team is not like last year

Sports21:55, 02-09-2025

Former Zenit Saint Petersburg player and Russian national team member Vladislav Radimov evaluated Akron's performance this season. Euro-football.ru reported on this.

According to him, the current Akron team is not the same as last year's Akron. This team has weakened significantly and has fallen far below last season's level.

Radimov believes that some openly criticize the team's management. In particular, Artyom Dzyuba recently emphasized the need for new transfers to Akron and stated that the team needs strengthening.

Currently, Akron is in 13th place in the Russian Premier League standings and has accumulated only six points after seven rounds. In the last match, the team lost 0-2 at home to Baltika.

Last season, Akron finished the league competition in ninth place. The team's management and players are working on new plans to improve their situation.
